Design Validation Engineer (Junior/Advance)

Design Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate is responsible for verifying various IP blocks and Fullchip for FPGA/SOC designs.
  • The job scope includes testplan definition, System Verilog/UVM testbenches and contents development, debugging and running regression to deliver well validated RTL.
  • Candidate is also required to run Gate Level Simulation and emulation.
  • Candidate will be working very closely with product/IP architect, logic design engineer, DFT/DFX owner and design automation engineer to ensure high quality design validation and well validated RTL.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Familiar with bus protocols, FPGA and/or ARM architectures.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in functional verification of complex designs including: test planning, test bench development, stimulus generation, checking, and functional coverage is a plus.
  • Good in debugging and analytical skill, self motivated and capable of working independently and in a team setup.

DFx Design Engineer (Junior/Advance)

DFx Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate is responsible for creating test vectors that validate the functionality of IP blocks, SOC and fullchip.
  • The job scope includes test implementation plan creation, test writing, running simulation, debugging and running regression to achieve test coverage goal before a product is tape out.
  • Candidate will be working closely with IP/SOC/Fullchip design owner, DFT (Design For Testability) owner as well as test engineer to deliver test solution that achieve test goal.
  • The individual will work closely with test engineering team during silicon bring-up and new production roll-out.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Familiar with test principles and test content development.
  • Familiar with various IO protocols, Serdes, SOC and FPGA architectures.
  • Good in debugging and analytical skill, self motivated and capable of working independently and in a team setup.

Circuit Design Engineer (Junior/Senior)

Circuit Design Engineer

Responsibility:

A member of Analog Design team developing state-of-art IPs and special analog circuit blocks in advanced deep sub-micron processes for SOC, FPGA and Automotive projects. Responsible for the definition, design, evaluation, enhancement and validation of analog IPs and special circuit blocks. Job scopes included but not limited to performing circuit design and simulation to check circuit functionality, performance, reliability and quality of analog blocks to produce quality and reliable design. Tasks also include debugging, verification and correlation of circuit behavior between simulation and silicon to ensure product electrical specifications are met.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in circuit design of Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) analog circuit blocks and IPs.
  • Strong Analytical skills, able to work independently and familiar with various levels of abstraction of IC design.
  • Any relevant experience in mixed signal and circuit design would be an added advantage, including:
    • Strong background in high speed serial interfaces, Input/Output Ports, PLL, Oscillator, Power Regulator, Bandgap, Phase Interpolator and etc.
    • Experience in circuit layout implementation.
    • Experience with UNIX operating environment, Cadence design tools, Perl script, and Ocean script.

Physical Design Engineer (Junior / Advance)

Physical Design Engineer (Junior / Advanced)

Responsibility:

Responsible for all aspects of IC physical design and implementation. This includes work on state-of-art deep sub-micron process nodes to implement SOC modules or functional blocks from RTL to GDS.

The scopes include floor planning, synthesis, auto-place and route, STA timing closure and physical verification. Candidates are expected to write Tcl, Perl or other industrial codes and applying physical design techniques to achieve design convergence. Candidates are expected to work in a cross site global team setup and must be able to articulate design problems independently through face-to-face or over the phone with cross site counterparts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in VLSI, Solid physical semiconductor device. Basic understanding of circuit design engineering requirement such as high speed analog layout techniques.
  • User of industry standard custom IP physical layout, Relibility & Physical Verifaction tools suite.
  • Hands-on experience in floorplanning, Physical layout IP/custom implementation and layout techniques, signal integrity, IR drop/EM analysis, ECO implementation and physical design verification.
  • Hands-on exposure into IO and memory layout generation and package flip chip/PCB board layout design requirement.

Custom Layout Engineer (Junior / Advance)

Custom Layout Engineer (Junior / Advanced)

Responsibility:

Responsible for translating design schematic circuitry to physical layout artwork on state-of-art deep sub-micron process technology nodes in 55nm, 28nm, 20nm and 14nm. Job scope includes floorplanning, device placement, matching and routing, running LVS, DRC, DFM check and reliability verification.

Candidates are expected to work closely with design owners and custom layout lead to implement custom IPs for various applications.

Candidates are also expected to work in a cross site global team setup and be able to articulate problems independently through face-to-face or over the phone.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing Place & Route tasks from RTL to GDS, STA and timing closure, power/reliability verification and physical verification.
  • Familiar with industry physical design standard EDA tools such as Synopsys IC Compiler, PrimeTime, IC Validator, Cadence Encounter , Mentor Graphics Calibre etc.
  • Hands-on experience in flooplanning, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, signal integrity check, IR drop analysis, ECO implementation and physical verification.

FPGA Design Engineer (Junior/Advance)

FPGA Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop FPGA designs with strong skills in RTL coding using Verilog.
  • Designing and implementing low latency, high throughput FPGA designs utilizing Modular PHY PCIe Gen2/3, Gigabit Ethernet, SERDES, DDR3/4, and/or QDR2/2+/4.
  • Focusses on Altera Stratix and Arria devices, Xilinx Kintex and Virtex devices with key understanding on high speed board design techniques along with knowledge of signal integrity fundamentals.
  • Utilizes the latest FPGA tool suites, such as Intel Quartus Prime, Xilinx Vivado to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
  • Strong understanding of synchronous design practices and data flow management (FIFOs, memories, pipelining).
  • Authoring documentation such as FPGA specifications and FPGA verification plans.
  • Performing simulations using ModelSim or QuestaSim.
  • Verifies completed work, checking component selection and system requirements.
  • Provide sustaining engineering on existing products and technical support for fielded equipment, and, communicates with customer technical personnel regarding technical issue(s) and technical challenge(s) and implements solutions where possible and as required.
  • Recognized as senior expert for technical problem-solving beyond use of typical methods. (Senior)

 

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum of 3-5 years in FPGA development experience (requirement, architecture, RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, P&R, board level integration and verification) is required. (Senior)
  • Experience working in the Linux environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to work as a Key Member of the FPGA Design Engineering team with other Digital/Analog Engineers, System Engineers and Software Engineers.
  • Participates in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation including a follow up review within the Engineering Team in a presentation format and project post mortem.

Post Silicon Validation Engineer (Junior/Advance)

Post Silicon Validation Engineer

This position is responsible for Hardware Validation and Debug related activities covering the various features of Processor & Graphics like 3D, GTI, blitter, and GPGPU, Media, Display for post-silicon validation, and debug. From a technical debug perspective, drive a regular debug forum for the team to help expedite debugs, make sure the appropriate external stakeholders are engaged, and when appropriate, form task force sessions to drive more urgent issues to resolution. This position will leverage best known methods and tools from existing Intel validation organizations.

 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop post-si validation test strategies, plans, and schedules.
  • Drive execution of written test plans and procedures.
  • Plan scheduling of weekly tasks for meeting medium and long-term validation deliverable.
  • Monitor progress against schedule communicating status.
  • Identify and collect pertinent data to influence decisions when presenting to various management forums.
  • Drive issue resolution with software and hardware development teams.
  • Enhance existing pre/post-si validation methodology and processes.

Qualifications:

Package Design Engineer

Responsibility:

This position requires knowledge of Integrated Circuits substrate design. You will be responsible for the high quality design and layout of IC package substrate, in various application such as processors, chipsets, RF components, networking, telecommunications etc. You will be working with a broad range of engineering disciplines to interpret their requirements in the physical design.You will also interface with tool vendors with the ability to drive tool improvements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum of 3+ years’ in circuit design and system integration.

PCB CAD Engineer (Junior/Advance)

PCB CAD Engineer

Responsibility:

PCB design of complex multilayer, high-speed digital, RF and analog boards with knowledge of board fabrication, assembly and test.

Part of the PCB design team to perform physical layout, schematic edits and fabrication drawing creation; Board routing studies to optimize new package ballmaps; Constraint entry of signal/power integrity guidelines.

Prepare assembly drawings, assembly arrays, data packages, and verify BOMs Ability to work effectively with customers, Design Engineers, PCB fabrication personnel, Plexus manufacturing and test Engineering personnel to ensure a producible product.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or, with equivalent experience.

Board/Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibility:

You will be responsible for the platforms for our clients in special product development kits, Laptop/Desktop/Server, Wireline/Wireless Networking Infrastructure & Telecommunication market sectors.

Architect and realize new product concept design that meets customer requirements & expectations, design, process & safety guidelines.

Integrate board-level RF and high-speed digital components, commercially available chipsets, and embedded processors; Design and implement electronics design by selecting components, schematic design and supervising PCB layout.

Conduct product verification against defined hardware specification.

Support evaluation of prototype devices through lab and field testing. Perform testing of prototype and deliverable devices, including debugging and troubleshooting, often under strict time constraints.

Interface with clients for project planning, product development, status reports, design review, and technical capability briefings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum of 3+ years’ in circuit design and system integration. Demonstrated experience in RF/analog/high-speed digital circuit design.
  • Experience in detailed design with schematic capture using industry standard EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Altium etc.) and supervising PCB layout.

Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software and system concepts that satisfy the customer's requirements, utilizing primarily C and C++ programming languages, along with other languages as needed.
  • Provide leadership to a team of software engineers, including project planning, task management, mentoring and team motivation.
  • Directly interface with customers to clearly and concisely communicate technical information.
  • Maintain and deliver controlled software releases to customers by utilizing appropriate configuration management tools.
  • Develop and execute software design verification test plans per requirements specifications to ensure prototypes meet design requirements.
